Plate 12: Egyptian sibyl; seen fron the front, with head inclined to the right; she wears a wide-brimmed hat, holds a sceptre in her left hand and an open open in her right hand; composition placed in a circle; the circular margin is lettered with Latin text; in the corners of the square frame encasing the circle are flowers on a cross-hatched background; around this square is a decorative border with floral flourishes; below the image, a cartouche, with a decorative border, containing four lines of Latin verse; copy after Crispijn de Passe. 1601-1612
