Plate 7: The Libyan sibyl; seen from the front, her head turned slightly to the right; holding a branch of laurels in her left hand, propped across her shoulder, her right hand indicating to herself; composition placed in a circle; the circular margin is lettered with Latin text; in the corners of the square frame encasing the circle are laurel branches on a cross-hatched background; around this square is a decorative border with floral flourishes; below the image, a cartouche, with a decorative border, containing four lines of Latin verse; copy after Crispijn de Passe. 1601-1612
